Yes. Every new account starts with 7 days of Pro, on either plan. Start a Pro trial and nothing is charged if you cancel before it ends, or subscribe to Basic and get the week of Pro included. A card is required either way.
GutSync is a paid app, and your first 7 days of Pro are free. AI runs on every entry you log and your subscription pays for it, so your data is never sold, never used for ads and never used to train third-party models.
Basic is effortless logging: a sentence, a photo, your voice or a text on Telegram, plus answers about your recent history. Pro does the detective work: the trigger engine that scores every food, Cases that run trials on autopilot and close with a verdict, proactive check-ins, long-term memory, the Monday brief and the Health Report for your GI.

A Pro trial rolls into Pro at the cadence you picked at checkout ($30 a month or $300 a year). On Basic, the week of Pro ends and Basic carries on at the same price: the preview ending never upgrades your plan.
Yes. Cancel in Settings → Billing whenever you like. You keep access through the trial or the period you paid for, and your history stays readable afterward.
